Safety is our primary focus. In Katmai and surrounding areas, we utilize elevated viewing platforms and follow strict park ranger and guide protocols. July is the "peak" for seeing bears at Brooks Falls catching salmon. However, September is also spectacular as the bears return to the lower rivers to feed on "spawned-out" salmon to pack on final weight before hibernation.
