KSL Cancelation Policy
King Salmon Lodge operates in a very remote part of Alaska with a short and highly seasonal operating window. Because we have a limited number of rooms and many guests plan their trips months, or even a year in advance, a late cancellation can leave us with a room that is difficult or impossible to rebook.
Preparing for each season also requires us to make significant commitments well in advance, including staffing, food and supplies, transportation, equipment, and other logistics necessary to operate in remote Bristol Bay. For these reasons, we maintain a more structured cancellation policy than you may encounter at a traditional hotel.
We also understand that plans can change. While deposits and cancellation fees may be non-refundable under the terms above, we are always happy to work with our guests to apply eligible non-refundable deposits toward a future stay at King Salmon Lodge. Our goal is not to prevent you from visiting, it is to help you experience King Salmon and Bristol Bay when the timing works for you while allowing us to responsibly plan for our short Alaska season.
