2027 Fishing Guided Rates

An average gratuity of 20% is recommended per angler

Whether you’re spending a few hours on the Naknek or heading into Katmai for a full day of fishing, our experienced guides can accommodate anglers of all experience levels. The following guide rates are effective for the 2027 season.

Naknek River Fishing

For the best experience, we generally maintain a 2:1 guest-to-guide ratio.

Half Day — $350 per angler
Plus 5% fuel surcharge

Full Day — $600 per angler
Plus 5% fuel surcharge
Box lunch included

Fishing at Brooks Falls

A maximum of two anglers per guide is permitted.

Half Day — $350 per angler

Full Day — $600 per angler

Transportation for anglers and guides to and from

Brooks Falls is not included in the guide rate and will be quoted separately.

Fly-Out Remote Fishing

Guide-to-guest ratios vary depending on the destination, aircraft, and planned activity.

Flight charter costs for anglers and guides are not included in the guide rate and will be quoted separately based on destination and aircraft requirements.

Non-Fishing Guests, “I just want to watch”
Non-fishing spectators may be able to accompany a fishing trip on a case-by-case basis, depending on available space, destination, and transportation requirements. Please contact our team in advance to discuss if this is a possibility and the associated cost.

Boat & Aircraft Capacity & Safety
Guest height and weight are important factors when determining safe operating capacity, passenger distribution, and appropriate guide ratios. We ask all anglers to provide their height and approximate weight prior to booking so our team can safely plan your trip and assign the appropriate boat, guide, and equipment.

Rates and trip availability are subject to weather, transportation availability, destination requirements, and other conditions unique to operating in remote Alaska.

The staff went above and beyond our expectations in helping us experience Katmai National Park at its best. Rooms in the lodge are clean and comfortable.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A little disorganized, meals are at their restaurant where a meal is served, no choices, no schedule for what is served. Drinks while staying at the lodge are not easy to get. No in room fridge for your own sodas.
Dinner the food was excellent. Service for dining needs improvement.
Guides were knowledgeable about sockeye but not Kings. They forgot one of my fish boxes going to the airport.
Recommend going to Brooks Falls, expensive but worth it. Need to improve on service.

The entire staff made us feel welcomed from the time we were picked up at the airport until the time we were dropped back at the airport for our departure!! The fishing experience I had on the river with the staff guide was truly awesome!! The way the entire staff went up and above to accommodate our every need, made our stay very enjoyable!! We always looked forward to the next meal because the food was spectacular!!😋

Cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. Breakfast is just as good, and the employees do everything possible to make your stay perfect. There's a lot of improvements going on. Wifi in the cabins can be tricky to get right now. They don't have cheap towels. They are the good ones you would use at home. Bed was comfortable. Nice quiet area on the river.
